Department Summary

Delivery Management manages projects from kick-off to delivery on time, on budget, and on brief. Delivery Management is everyone’s go to place for the project. Clients and internal team members rely on you for everything they need to know about a project: what to expect, what to do next, and where they need to be.

Role Summary


 The Programme Manager is responsible for initiation, implementation and leading strategic and tactical data vision for one of our Tier 1 Clients in the Travel & Hospitality space. You will be responsible for managing the Client’s data marketing programme, and working with both the Agency and Client teams.

You will ensure project scope is defined, create and manage the project plan, and provide direction to all members of the project team. You will be ultimately responsible for planning and coordinating activities of individual projects and overall programmes in complex client stakeholder environments to ensure that the goals are accomplished and client needs are met.

Responsibilities

Planning

  • Day to day management of the project team
  • Create and own plan, including estimation, tracking, updating
  • Define responsibilities and set direction and allocate with the project team
  • Identify project risks and countermeasures
  • Manage project and account level resourcing

Communications

  • Keeping relevant leadership team involved and escalating issues to the Client Director / Managing Director where appropriate
  • Weekly status reporting to client, including financial if T&M
  • Weekly reporting/recording for company (including resource forecast)

Consulting

  • Develop project proposals and statements of work leveraging experience of key discipline leads (including Consulting, Concept & Design, Experience Architecture, Technology)
  • Partner with Client Lead in developing client presentations
  • Lead and facilitate requirements workshops and interviews
  • Manage and develop process for scope changes / change requests
  • Ensure client satisfaction (including client acceptance)

Financials

  • Manage project budget – deliver to target margin
  • Seek to maximise revenue across multiple projects/accounts through project delivery (profit margin)
  • Track actual time and expenses incurred

Leadership

  • Manage deliverable and review process
  • Day to day leadership of a project and/or delivery area, managing multiple work streams and levels of colleagues
  • Manages a project team, demonstrates leadership skills in addressing delivery and performance issues and undertakes tasks to build team morale
  • Hold responsibility for the quality of the project deliverables and communications
  • Lead and support team to take on responsibility
  • Provide timely feedback and mentoring to team members throughout the project
  • Mentor more junior project managers / producers (up to Leader level)
  • Develop best practice project management processes and tools
  • Ensure team collaboration & positive environment
  • Conducts timely, fair and accurate project reviews for team members, using the standard templates, where appropriate
