DigitasLBI’s Managed Services team provides hosting and application support services for many of our high-profile clients.
We are looking for a smart, motivated individual with experience of supporting Linux and Windows environments and with excellent problem-solving, team working skills and communications skills to join a growing platform support team.
The successful candidate will have experience of supporting critical systems and workloads and be flexible in their approach to managing priorities.
The role involves providing out-of-hours support for escalations on an on-call rota system with overtime rates.
Candidates should demonstrate:
• An understanding gathering requirements to support live production web sites for high-profile brands
• Experience of working within a DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery ethos, including working closely with development and application management teams
• In addition to a general enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to embrace and learn new systems / tools you will need experience of supporting a good spread of the following:
o Windows and Linux OS. Including Powershell and Shell scripting
o Enterprise eCommerce and CMS solutions such as Hybris, Episerver, Oracle WCS, AEM/CQ, Sitecore
o Networking: Routing and switch configurations, Cisco Firewalls & Network Security, Load balancing, WAF
o Web servers: Apache, IIS and Tomcat
o Enterprise VMware
o At least one of the following Public Cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCP
o Familiarity with CI/build management tooling such as Bamboo, Jenkins, other
o Configuration and automation tooling e.g. Chef, Puppet
o Common database technologies, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Mongo
o Monitoring Tools: Xymon, Zabbix, CA, Datadog, New Relic, App Dynamics
o Experience with the Atlassian suite, Confluence, JIRA, Crowd, Stash, Bamboo would be desirable
In addition, the following would be beneficial:
• An understanding of Java and Java application servers
• Experience in supporting an agency on design and technology led projects
