Vice President/Group Director, Data & Analysis (DNA)

Tasks and responsibilities include:

Customer database analytics, marketing consulting services, and digital media analytics: these are just a few of the ways our team assist clients in making smarter decisions and achieving greater results. As a Vice President/Group Director within our DNA capability, you’ll engage clients in economic insights and drive strategic thinking into client marketing solutions. Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Define the scope and approach of strategic projects for clients
  • Serve as key DigitasLBi thought leader in aligning digital strategy and eBusiness transformation with a client’s broader business goals and objectives
  • Direct ongoing client relationships to exceed expectations and strengthen relationship
  • Lead thorough responses to client strategic issues. Topics may include enterprise-wide interactive strategy, strategic budgeting decisions, competitive assessments, technology points of view, and business case analyses
  • Develop framework for all aspects of digital Marketing, including variety of strategies
  • Prospect, qualify and close major DNA new business opportunities. Make significant contributions to and establish relationships with prospective clients, increasing DigitasLBi’s potential for business.
  • Establish and maintain substantial and influential relationships with client senior management
  • Interact with general managers to coordinate resources across offices and projects
  • Coordinate with Creative, User Experience, Technology, Media Planning and Project Management
  • Provide methodological support, coaching, training and advice to S&A staff on multiple client and internal assignments
  • Codify and publish formal frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, both leveraging existing DigitasLBi intellectual capital and developing innovative concepts

To qualify, you’ll need:

  • Four years of college education (mathematics or economics focus preferred)
  • 12–14 years of experience of meaningful experience in marketing consulting, advertising, or interactive
  • Deep familiarity with the digital environment and expertise in aligning marketing strategies with business needs
  • Strong knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple industries including telecommunications, retail, CPG, financial, and retail
  • Proven leadership ability, including strong interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude with clients
  • An artful ability to translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs
  • Exceptional written, oral communication, and presentation skills – you’re articulate, poised and concise
  • Willingness to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas
