Associate Director – Staffing

We’re searching for an Associate Director of Staffing who will partner with capability leads to advise on talent management decisions as it relates talent casting

What you’ll do: 

Play the role of Casting Director who understands the ins and outs of each persons’ skill sets, strengths, weaknesses to appropriately map right talent (both internal and external) to the right business at the right time

Day-to-day, your role includes:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Capabilities
  • Efficiently prioritize and communicate status of open needs based on revenue status, state of the business, and current staffing structure
  • With Leadership’s support, make recommendations around and follow-through on the key pillars of Casting – Open to Hire Planning, Client-to-Client rotation, Short-term loans and Long-term Transfers, Cross-office and cross-agency mobility and Freelance Management
  • Partner with HR on performance and risk management
  • Partner with Recruiting on open reqs and approve salaries for external hires , enter new positions and any changes to existing positions in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Partner with Recruiting on all open requisition and related recruiting activity and assists in bringing each requisition to closure. Provides guidance and final approval on all external offers of employment
  • Enable and drive internal Mobility and cross-agency Fluid Talent

Goals & Development Planning

  • Participate in Goals and Development Planning (GDP) process
  • Attend and contribute to Capability Talent Reviews
  • Drive compensation Planning with Capability, Office and Staffing Leadership


  • Facilitate the staffing process utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to match skills sets to all open needs
  • Have an understanding of metrics related to the staffing function – billability, utilization, investment allocations and revenue forecasts
  • Have an understanding of skill set data
  • Internalize broader Talent Management trending (attrition, high potential tracking, etc)
  • Attend client operations meetings and review and monitor staffing allocations which impact overall capability talent management
  • Prepare ad hoc reports or request same from Finance/HRIS as needed for internal deliverables that support overall capability talent management
  • Maintain tracking of assignments (Full-Time, Freelance, Mobility)
  • Communicate trending and status of casting by way of data management and story-telling to all applicable audiences as relevant
