We work in close collaboration with colleagues across all agency disciplines to develop truly innovative, highly effective, data-powered solutions for our clients

To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding VP, Data Partnerships – someone who can forge new data sharing partnerships, exploit existing agency relationships, and fuse emerging technology platforms to fuel contextually relevant consumer understanding. Sound like you? Read on.

    

What you’ll do:  

Our Data Scientists deliver analytic solutions across a wide variety of client applications. We build inferential and predictive models, including machine learning algorithms and AI; we process, integrate and manipulate big data with distributed systems and customer data pipelines; we synthesize results and translate findings into compelling stories that resonate with clients.

As VP, Data Partnerships you’ll manage our Global data analytic and technology partnership portfolio by collaborating with our Product Management, Data Science, and new business teams to source and manage strategic data partnerships and enabling technology platforms to drive transformational consumer understanding. This role will seamlessly work across our North American and Global network to develop and execute strategic sourcing relationships by developing privacy compliant, innovative agreements to support our analytic and execution needs.

Day-to-day, your role includes:

  • Negotiating new data partner and tech platform agreements, scopes of work, and service levels to support our internal and client facing analytic and product demands.
  • Develop and establish a supplier relationship management process to improve, sustain, and reposition our existing data partner and tech platform relationships to ensure data quality, platform performance compliance, and innovation.
  • Partner closely with legal, technology, and account teams to ensure we source, use, and develop privacy compliant, industry relevant data to power marketing capabilities to meet our client and agency needs.
  • Mentor and liaise with dedicated account data leads to ensure we are sourcing the data and technology capabilities that will successfully drive innovation or efficiency for each client.
  • Work with the new business and growth teams to ensure we have a robust pipeline of partnerships to address emerging client requests or opportunities.

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:


An unwavering passion for understanding consumer behavior with an ability to see opportunities where data can unlock consumer relationships to brands.

  • Four years of college education and 8-10 years of experience preferably with agency data partnership, technology alliance, or client-side marketing procurement experience.
  • Impressive expertise in the digital world – you keep a pulse on what’s happening, and you offer smart POVs on how businesses should adapt accordingly
  • Global contracting experience.
  • Effective time-management, impeccable organization and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes.
  • Proven leadership and management training – you’re known for your ability to coach and develop talent, inspire and drive change, and bring varied groups together to collaborate effectively.
  • Amazing communication and presentation skills – you’re articulate, straightforward and engaging.
