Client Need
The Dutch fashion brand Scotch & Soda has been taking the world by storm for years now. But they still needed a stronger online presence to increase online sales lacking in comparison to their in-store sales.

In short, they needed a new e-commerce site. And not just one that would increase online sales but that also linked to the US supply system and could facilitate next day delivery.

The challenge? How can Scotch & Soda manifest itself as a high-end fashion brand online and at the same time reach their ambitious sales targets? DigitasLBi was selected to implement the new online shopping expiring in Demandware.

The Idea
To engage their target audience, who are always looking for what’s next in fashion, we incorporated the unique Scotch & Soda brand experience in the web shop. The concept of the webshop is based on three pillars: brand engagement via social media and reviews, product discovery by means of a lookbook and inspiring imagery, and product buying by keeping things simple and enabling easy cross-sell possibilities. Yes, it was a challenge, and yes we did it. We realized the brand new webshop for the U.S. in 11 weeks, followed by the rollout of multiple countries and markets.

Results
The web shop performs significantly better. Order value and conversion are up and rising steadily. And we are still working together to keep things running smoothly and strengthen their online presence.
