DigitasLBi Amsterdam has started the European e-commerce roll-out for the exclusive luxury bags and accessories brand MCM, based in South Korea. After winning the worldwide pitch DigitasLBi Amsterdam was asked to, besides the European roll-out of the platform, fully arrange the management for all regions by means of their Global Managing Service. The platform is live since July 2015.
“We currently service an abundant amount of international clients from our Amsterdam office. MCM is a great addition to our portfolio. Omni-channel shopping experience
MCM started developing their international e-commerce platform in February 2015. The site for both Asia and America is also up and running. The European site, a responsibility of DigitasLBi Amsterdam, is part of the Omni-channel shopping experience. Besides the development of the European roll-out, DigitasLBi also set forth a strategic roadmap for the coming years.
The South-Korean company MCM, Modern Creation Munich, designs and creates exclusive luxury bags and accessories. They were founded in 1976 in Munich, then home to the international jet set of the Seventies. With flagship stores in Beijing, Munich, London, New York and Shanghai their luxury leather goods are widely appreciated, sold worldwide and seen with celebrities such as Dita Von Teese, Ivanka Trump and Heidi Klum
