Associate Director -Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

What you’ll do:

ll analyze search data to provide tremendous insights into the motivations of consumers, leading a team that’s on the cutting edge of search technology and search engine marketing strategies. Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development of Search Engine Optimization strategies for Fortune 500 clients in our Chicago office
  • Develops scopes of work for new and existing clients
  • Develop a goal based SEO roadmap for each of your clients and ensure that targets are achieved/exceeded
  • Ensures excellence and accuracy in all client deliverables
  • Clearly and convincingly presenting search engine optimization capabilities and strategies to clients
  • Driving integration and education with internal capabilities – Tech, UX, Social, Content, Media and Analytics
  • Collaborates with internal teams for all projects, ensuring that SEO drives our strategic thinking
  • Develops and maintains high-quality talent
  • Evolves and enhances the SEO product offering at DigitasLBi
  • Ensuring excellence and accuracy in all client deliverables
  • Collaborating with Project Managers on project timelines and with Staffing on resource needs

We’re looking for a top-notch Associate Director who is also a delight to work with, which usually includes:

  • A four-year degree in marketing, computer science or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in search engine optimization for Fortune 500 brands
  • Track record of SEO integration with UX, Tech, Content, Media and Analytics teams
  • Experience working on redesigns for US and Global brands
  • Proven leadership skills and prior experience managing a team
  • Experience scoping projects, providing forecasts and driving ongoing process improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills – and a knack for details
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and make smart, fast decisions
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Outstanding leadership and people management skills
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills – you’re poised, articulate and convincing
  • Willingness to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas
