Vice President/Director, Client Data Lead. Someone will be responsible for overall data stewardship for specific client engagements, with focus on increasing the availability and use of data to drive our clients business. Sound like you? Read on.

What you’ll do: 

Vice President/Director, Client Data Lead, you will work as both a strategic business partner and technical lead that is embedded within client teams with the goal to increase the use and impact of data.  The client data lead will be responsible for creating a data vision and working in conjunction with the other Data & Analysis teams as well as other capabilities to implement that vision.

Day-to-day, your role includes:

  • Create and Execute Client Data Vision
    • Partner with Growth and Business Intelligence teams to understand key business opportunities and translate those into a clear, actionable data strategy for a specific client
    • Perform opportunity/gap assessment to identify and select optimal data projects for specific business needs
    • Create detailed roadmaps for implementing cross-channel data projects including technical requirements, considerations, and dependencies
    • Manage implementation of the data vision and individual related projects from beginning to end
    • Integrate with all capabilities and core DNA team to create and implement data priorities
    • Coordinate with Data Science team on data engineering, statistical methods, model development, and technical integration needs
  • Data Stewardship
    • Continually evaluate new online and offline data opportunities in the form of new sources, new technology, client priorities, partnership, etc.
    • Foster creative thinking around how we use data, and we could use data to solve unique business challenges in support of all Marketing activities (Media, Creative, CRM, and eCommerce).
    • Communicate strategies, opportunities, and outcomes to senior leadership
    • Develop actionable, privacy compliant cross-channel graphs to drive integrated marketing strategies
  • General Responsibilities
    • Create repeatable processes to support similar business problems in the future
    • Coordinate with other Client Data Leads to share knowledge, create best practices, and facilitate learning
    • Stay current with new analytical tools and industry trends
    • Support overall agency initiatives and new business

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, computer science, etc.). Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years proven business experience and technical expertise in data analytics and data strategy
  • Excellent presentation skills -- ability to present complex information in a concise and compelling manner
  • Experience with modern statistical learning methods (regression techniques, classification models, supervised and unsupervised learning, etc.)
  • Knowledge of digital data technologies (DMPs, Google Analytics, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • General knowledge of or direct experience with the media industry or CRM platforms are a plus
