Manager – Media Operations

Right now, we’re looking for a Manager to drive that transformation in our Media Operations group – someone who can focus on using technology in smarter, sharper ways to reach target audiences through media. What you’ll do:

You’ll be responsible for keeping up-to-date with and evaluating new technologies, and then leveraging them to create and shape media strategies that will power our clients’ businesses forward. Day to day, your role will include:

  • Bringing to the table a deep understanding of the best Web marketing capabilities and innovations, and driving development of thoughtful and actionable implementation and measurable strategies
  • Collaborating with interdepartmental teams to identify issues and opportunities for the business through the use of unique serving media technologies in planning and executing media
  • Being the “big picture” person – maintaining a clear and reasonable vision of the next steps needed
  • Effectively using and explaining campaign implementation resources (e.g., third-party ad servers such as DoubleClick DART, and Atlas DMT) to relevant parties
  • Aiding in completing monthly staffing analysis reports
  • Developing, reviewing, and approving budgets to ensure that resources are properly forecasted and applied
  • Building strong client, vendor and interdepartmental relationships – you’ll win their respect and be recognized as a leader on the business
  • Willingness to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas

We’re looking for a whip smart Media Operations Manager with solid experience, which usually includes:

  • A four year college education and five to seven years of experience, preferably in a creative agency – including 1–3 years as a media planner in an agency or marketing company with relevant interactive experience
  • Hands-on experience working with media technology including ad servers, rich media vendors, and optimizers
  • A knack for teamwork – you’re at your best in a closely collaborative structure
  • Great technical skills and working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
  • A stellar ability to problem solve, prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills – you’re articulate, straightforward and, above all, you’re thoughtful and kind
