To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding Lead Analyst to drive that transformation in our Media team – someone with a background in both strategy and analytics with an understanding of how the two work together.

What You’ll Do

This is a collaborative role, as the Lead Analyst you will be working alongside the media strategist and planners while leading a team of junior analysts to deliver data-driven media strategies. Having a strong background and understanding of data-driven marketing, this person will be responsible for driving analytical projects that will influence the media plan and performance. Establishing a relationship with the client, this person will also be tasked with bringing the client on board to new data propositions in the industry and challenge traditional viewpoints where appropriate. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Accountable for ensuring the usage of data in all aspects of the client’s media business
  • Lead relationship between strategist and media planners to ensure data is used consistently and effectively throughout the team
  • Identify opportunities to use new data offerings and media strategies to enhance media performance
  • Work as a thought leader when it comes to new applications and uses of data for the client
  • Deliver client-facing presentations covering such topics as multi-touch attribution, data modelling and ad tech
  • Build trusting relationship with the client and be able to elaborate on data offerings
  • Oversee senior analyst and analyst team to ensure quality of client deliverables and provide guidance to junior team members

  • A curious and passionate degree educated individual
  • Detail oriented and driven to deliver quality work, going above and beyond when needed to meet client deadlines
  • Expertise in online and offline media with experience working directly with clients to deliver marketing transformation fueled by data
  • Background in media performance reporting, optimizations
  • Expertise in data applications, offerings in the industry with the ability to leverage this knowledge to benefit the client
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team across departments while building a relationship with clients
  • Ability and experience in driving performance, identifying analysis and being strategic
  • Be innovative – looking at different ways of obtaining data sets as well as utilising our exclusive partnerships
  • Consulting or strategy background
