Digital Account Manager

We are looking for an area account manager who wants to join a big international team that manages a search program for the one the world’s largest hotel companies.

This is an opportunity to work with all disciplines within digital acquisition in an international environment. Applicants should ideally have a background in digital marketing with experience in paid search.

The client organization consists of 7 regional areas, with local e-commerce managers who services the hotels across their respective region.

Your role will be to build and maintain a productive relationship with your counterparts within local areas, with the objective of increasing revenue driven by their hotel portfolio. You will do this by guiding your clients in identifying opportunities to optimize and grow, as well as facilitating the execution of initiatives within DigitasLBi.

THE JOB IN DETAIL

You will be the day to day point of contact for your respective counterparts within the client area organization, and you will be part of a team responsible for delivering successful revenue driving projects. This means:

  • Identifying and shaping projects with the client and the DigitasLBi team with a strong sense of initiative
  • Acting as the focal point in delivering on an established strategy and securing an integrated cross channel approach
  • Using analysis to drive decisions in a way that yields measurable results
  • Displaying powerful presentation skills that invite participation and effect desired outcomes in a quarterly process
  • Interlocking with digital media experts within the team (SEO, PPC, Affiliate, Social Media and Analytics) on how to shape deliverables that drive client objectives
  • Consulting with the clients on strategy and execution as well as manage client satisfaction and feedback
  • Facilitating the project execution by planning deliverables and ensuring they are delivered on time and budget
  • Ensuring work is client-ready by safeguarding quality
  • Project reporting to ensure visibility to key stakeholders in addition to reporting against KPIs
  • The international client setup will require 5-10 yearly travel days

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

We’re looking for a talented account manager / project manager preferably with travel industry experience that includes:

  • 3-5 years’ account management / project management experience
  • Proven project management skills and management of multiple demanding stakeholders
  • Demonstrated budget management and resource planning experience
  • If in addition to English you are fluent in other languages such as French, German or Russia it will be an advantage
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how key trends in the digital marketing industry impact search disciplines
  • A general understanding of each of our services SEO, SEM and Affiliate. Focusing on PPC where you must be able to have informed conversations with the client around opportunity, feasibility and impact of initiatives
  • Staying up-to-date within digital acquisition disciplines as well as local news and impact of geopolitics and macroeconomics
  • Superb communication and presentation skills – you’re articulate, straight forward and engaging
  • Effective time-management, impeccable organization and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes
  • Skill set to proactively mitigate risk and manage expectations
